East & Westbrook Construction is seeking experienced Carpenters with a strong background in concrete construction. This position is ideal for individuals who have hands-on experience building and setting concrete forms, placing concrete, and performing layout and finish work on commercial and industrial construction projects.
What You'll Do
- Build, set, brace, and strip concrete forms for footings, foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.
- Measure, cut, and install wood and metal forming systems.
- Read blueprints and perform layout work according to project specifications.
- Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and curing operations.
- Install embeds, anchor bolts, and reinforcing materials as required.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of carpentry experience, with a strong emphasis on concrete formwork.
- Experience with footings, foundations, walls, elevated slabs, and other concrete structures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledge of concrete forming systems, layout, and construction methods.
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable transportation and regular attendance.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
