Carpenter Framer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial wood and metal stud framing, including walls, partitions, soffits, backing, and blocking.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and layout plans.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing materials according to project requirements.
• Perform jobsite layout work, including wall locations, elevations, dimensions, and alignment.Install doors, frames, headers, and related framing components.
• Assist with drywall installation, demolition, and other commercial carpentry activities as needed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment.
• Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain schedules and project progress.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial framing or carpentry experience.
• Experience with wood and metal stud framing, wall layouts, partitions, backing, and blocking.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and layout plans.
• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing framing materials.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability and willingness to work 95% night shift work, including overnight schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces.

Travel Requirement: This position requires extensive travel and an on-site presence throughout the duration of assigned projects.
