Job Description

JKH Engineering Pte. Ltd. is looking for skilled and experienced Carpenters to carry out carpentry, installation, repair, and renovation works at various residential, commercial, and construction project sites in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform general carpentry works, including fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.

2. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, plywood, laminates, and other carpentry materials.

3. Install and repair doors, door frames, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, partitions, and wooden furniture.

4. Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and work instructions to ensure accurate installation.

5. Carry out renovation, fitting-out, and interior carpentry works at residential and commercial premises.

6. Operate carpentry tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.

7. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.

8. Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other workers to complete assigned tasks on schedule.

9. Perform maintenance, modification, and rectification of existing carpentry installations.

10. Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness at the worksite.

11. Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.

12. Perform other carpentry-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in carpentry, construction, or renovation works.

2. Good knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and installation methods.

3. Ability to read basic technical drawings and take accurate measurements.

4. Experience in door installation, cabinet fitting, partition works, and furniture assembly is preferred.

5. Able to operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely.

6. Physically fit and capable of performing manual work at construction and renovation sites.

7. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Willing to work at different project locations across Singapore.

9. Good time management skills and ability to complete assigned work within deadlines.

10. Willing to work overtime when required, in accordance with applicable employment regulations.
