Sani Artisans is looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our technical team and carry out high-quality carpentry works across residential and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, maintenance, modification, removal, and reinstatement of carpentry works.
• Work on doors, cabinets, wardrobes, furniture, skirting, wooden panels, partitions, and other wooden elements.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately.
• Identify and rectify defects and carry out customized carpentry works.
• Handle damaged or mold-affected wooden components when required.
• Ensure proper measurements, alignment, functionality, finishing, and overall quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all health & safety procedures.
• Work independently and coordinate effectively with the Technical and Indoor Sciences teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of practical carpentry experience.
• Strong experience in maintenance, residential/commercial, or fit-out carpentry.
• Good knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Ability to read basic drawings/sketches and take accurate site measurements.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

WORK PORTFOLIO – MANDATORY

Candidates must submit photos and/or videos of previous carpentry work along with their CV.

Before-and-after photos of repair or modification works are highly appreciated.

• False ceiling installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Gypsum board installation and finishing.
• Metal framework installation and alignment.
• Gypsum partitions, bulkheads, and customized ceiling designs.
• Jointing, taping, filling, sanding, and paint-ready finishing.
• Ceiling measurement, leveling, and alignment.
• Installation of access panels, inspection openings, and shadow gaps.
• Ceiling crack repair, defect rectification, and reinstatement.
• Reading basic technical drawings and sketches.
• Knowledge of gypsum materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot ceiling defects and finishing issues.
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Coordination with painters, carpenters, and other technical teams.
• Site safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of tools and materials.
