Key Responsibilities:

● Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or instructions to build or repair various items, including furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows

● Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools

● Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools

● Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures

● Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment

● Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradesmen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

● Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure they are in good working order

● Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

● Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent training

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or related field

● Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

● Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications

● Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

● Ability to work independently or as part of a team

● Good communication and interpersonal skills

● Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
