CARPENTER

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and carpentry plans.

2. Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble timber, plywood, and other carpentry materials.

3. Construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete works, including columns, beams, walls, and slabs.

4. Install doors, door frames, window frames, cabinets, partitions, and other wooden fixtures.

5. Carry out interior renovation carpentry works, including wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, shelving, and built-in furniture.

6. Repair, adjust, and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings.

7. Operate carpentry tools and machinery safely, including saws, drills, hammers, and measuring equipment.

8. Select suitable materials and minimise material wastage during carpentry works.
