ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES

• Able to complete all phases of residential remodeling
• Performs skilled wood construction and alteration work tasks on buildings including framing, trim carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing, roofing, flooring, tilework, etc.
• Performs wood construction framing tasks which includes finish wood and laminate trim work, caulking and office furniture construction.
• Excellent ability to organize and manage other sub-contractors
• Operates and uses a variety of tools and equipment in the construction, alteration, and repair of buildings and facilities projects.
• Cleans work site areas.
• Performs related duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS

• General knowledge of the standard practices, methods, tools and materials of the general building construction trades.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Ability to perform technical finish skill work to the building construction trades.
• Ability to learn the qualities and uses of various woods, Formica, and other construction trade materials.
• Ability to perform a variety of manual work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, crouch and kneel. Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials/equipment that may weigh up to forty five (45) pounds.

- Have 3+ years carpentry finishing experience

- Able to pass a background check and drug screen

- Be punctual and dependable

- Have all appropriate PPE (hard hat, work boots, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest, etc.) and hand tools.
