As a Floor Coverings International installer, you’re on the front lines, delivering quality carpet and stair runner installations that make a lasting impression. You’ll respect each customer’s home, deliver on your promises, and leave every job spotless.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, prep, and install carpeting and stair runners with precision and care
- Review project scope and details before arriving on site
- Keep tools organized and maintain a safe, clean workspace
- Properly handle tools and equipment
- Accurately measure and calculate areas for materials
- Interact with customers in a friendly, trustworthy manner, ensuring they feel comfortable in their home
- Deliver consistent, high-quality installations that meet company standards
- Ensure customer satisfaction with every project
- Travel to different job sites throughout the week
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of carpet installation experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable with physical tasks like crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Detail-oriented, with strong measurement and math skills
- Professional, polite, and customer-focused
