About the Position: Executes geospatial program requirements independently under the broad guidance of the United States Forces Korea Command Engineer, determining methodologies and resolving technical conflicts to ensure successful mission execution. Manage analytical studies and plan program requirements for the exchange and production of geospatial mapping information while coordinating with external engineering and intelligence partner organizations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of production processes for geospatial products and data to execute study improvements, modify workflows, and review technical, operational, and equipment proposals.
Maintain the operational integrity, security, and quality control of the common operating picture web portal, authoritative databases, and published map services across multiple networks.
Develop standardization specifications for cartographic methods and research to ensure database compliance with national facility standards and provide technical support to production teams.
Perform specialized spatial analyses and terrain assessments using advanced mapping software to create integrated datasets and dynamic web applications that support strategic planning.
