Case Aide

Key Responsibilities
- Supplement case planner contacts in accordance with minimum casework contact standards as directed.
- Assist with outreach and engagement efforts.
- Provide or arrange case coverage during workers' vacations or other leave.
- Continually assess family engagement, behavior changes, and in-home functioning.
- Advocate for and escort families to service sites, modeling appropriate behaviors and assessing learning transfer.
- Maintain collateral contact with service providers and request progress reports; share information with the case planning team.
- Actively participate in monthly case supervisions and clinical diagnostic team meetings.
- Aid in the development of comprehensive assessments.
- Ensure compliance with training and program learning mandates.
- Participate in agency meetings as directed.
- Ensure all written documentation and contacts are entered accurately and promptly.
- Assist with maintaining physical case records.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet department/agency needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Some knowledge of the Child Welfare System and experience counseling children and families.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands.
- Fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
- Ability to travel throughout the Bronx and to other locations.
