About Us
Forward Recovery is a behavioral health treatment facility in Los Angeles providing PHP and IOP levels of care for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We're seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our clinical team and support clients through every stage of their treatment.

What You'll Do

• Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients across PHP and IOP levels of care
• Complete timely, insurance-ready clinical documentation in Kipu EMR (case management notes, intake summaries, treatment updates)
• Coordinate care with medical providers, psychiatric services, and outside agencies
• Handle prior authorizations, disability paperwork, leave-of-absence documentation, etc.
• Conduct intake assessments and pre-admission summaries for incoming clients
• Provide individual weekly case management sessions and support clients with treatment planning, aftercare coordination, and discharge planning
• Communicate with families, referral sources, and insurance providers as needed

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related setting (PHP/IOP/RTC experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of ASAM criteria and insurance documentation standards
• Experience with an EMR system (Kipu strongly preferred)
• Strong written documentation skills — accuracy, clarity, and attention to deadlines
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Certification (CADC, RADT) or relevant degree
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (AM Position)
