Roles & responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the organization’s cash flow, managing liquidity, optimizing working capital, and ensuring efficient cash flow across all business units. This role has the end-to-end ownership over planning cycles including budget, long range plans, and rolling forecast. This responsibility is extended to include cash flow target preparation, negotiation, communication to different stakeholders internally and with Vodafone group, maintaining and ensuring cash flow target achievement.

The role is also extended to monitor actual performance against budgets, challenge inputs, prepare consolidated views, spot potential risks and highlight opportunities, identify cash initiatives and monitor the achievement of identified ones. This role plays a critical part in managing daily cash needs and ensuring adequate controls over cash and banking activities.

The role involves close coordination with business units across all organization functions, leading monthly performance analysis through internal review meetings with finance managers, finance leadership team, Exco team, and across the group.

The E-Invoice & E-Receipt Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of electronic invoicing and e-receipt operations across the organization. The role ensures full compliance with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) e-invoicing and e-receipt mandates, alignment with tax laws and IFRS, and seamless integration between the e-invoicing platform and all revenue-related systems.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • E-receipts operational management
  • Collaborate with departments to collect, validate, and consolidate forecast data.
  • Variance analysis & reporting
  • Perform detailed variance analysis to explain fluctuations in cash flow performance.
  • Provide management with accurate, timely liquidity reports highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support management decisions with scenario-based cash flow modeling.
  • Identify regulatory breaches and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Budgeting
  • Lead, govern, and consolidate Vodafone cash flow budgets, and update following rolling forecasts.
  • Prepare long range plans (LRP) according to Vodafone group and internal guidelines.

Knowledge and experience

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial and accounting solid understanding.
  • Excellent understanding of financial planning, analysis, cash flow, and working capital management.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience.
  • Business or accounting study background.
  • Strong financial, commercial, and cash management accounting background with robust business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, SAP, HFM).
