POSITION SUMMARY
Perform guest service duties associated with automotive preventive maintenance lubrication services in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform cashier duties in accordance with the “Ring Out” procedures.
- Complete Computer Based Training classes for Orientation, Basic Safety and and Product Knowledge.
- Adheres to Cash Handling Procedures.
- Provide fresh coffee and supplies for Guest Lounge area.
- Maintain guest lounge and public restroom as well as store facilities.
- Greet Guests upon arrival in a friendly manner and solicit guest information.
- Explain services, products, and prices to guests.
- Direct and escort guest safely to lounge area.
- Observe and enforce safety procedures in driveway, service areas, and lounge.
- Complies with Alamitos Enterprises Code of Ethics.
- The ability to appear for work on time.
- The ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
- The ability to interact effectively with co-workers.
- The ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
- The ability to accept constructive criticism.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
- Drive motor vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions (with valid driver’s license).
- Perform duties of a Courtesy Technician.
- Produce management reports on POS computer as directed by supervisor.
- All other as indicated by management
Qualifications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a vision correctable to 20/ 40.
- Have Normal Hearing.
- Be able to bend forward from the waist.
- Be able to assume a squatting position and return to a standing position.
- Be able to repeat all of the above motions over an eight-hour period.
SKILL PREREQUISITES:
- Be able to speak, read and write English.
- Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Must have a valid Driver's License
UNIFORM: Black slacks with belt, red and white pin striped shirt. Shirt is to be tucked into slacks. Black oil resistant shoes.
