We are seeking a friendly and efficient cashier to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable handling cash and credit card transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they approach the register and process their purchases accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Answer customer questions and provide information about products and services
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
