Cashier

Job Purpose:
We are actively looking for a highly motivated reliable and trustworthy Cashier who will work closely with current team in place.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process cash and cheque
Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly
Handle daily cash balancing and comply with cash-handling procedures
Provide courteous and efficient service to customers at all times
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the counter area
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
Provide assistance in the transaction process of money to be banked

Job Requirements:

Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification
Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in the FMCG or retail sector
Basic numeracy skills and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Well versed with ERP systems and proficient in the MS Office package
High degree of organizational skill, accuracy and confidentiality
Honest, reliable, and able to work under pressure
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
