Cashier Female Candidates | Full-Time

We are a prestigious fine-dining restaurant on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, specializing in exquisite Turkish meat dishes. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Cashier to manage billing, reservations, and delivery-platform orders, and to keep our daily cash and sales records accurate.

The ideal candidate has worked as a cashier in a fine-dining restaurant or a premium hotel outlet, is fully at home with POS and reservation systems, and has a solid grounding in accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process guest payments accurately through the POS system (cash, card, and digital wallets), including split bills, approved discounts, and VAT-compliant invoices.

• Open and close each shift: count and hand over the cash float, run end-of-day reports, and reconcile cash and card settlements against POS totals.

• Manage table reservations through the reservation system: confirm, amend, and cancel bookings, run the waitlist, and pass special requests to the floor team.

• Receive and manage orders from delivery and sales platforms (such as Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon Food, and Careem), keep menu availability up to date, and reconcile platform statements and payouts.

• Prepare daily sales reports by payment method and sales channel, and submit them to management and the accounts team.

• Issue invoices to corporate clients and follow up on outstanding balances in coordination with the B2B sales team.

• Manage petty cash and keep all receipts and supporting documents filed for month-end closing.

• Follow cash-control procedures for voids, refunds, and discounts, and report any discrepancy immediately.

• Greet guests courteously at the counter, answer billing questions, and maintain the confidentiality of all financial data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cashier in a fine-dining restaurant or a 4- or 5-star hotel outlet (mandatory).

• Hands-on experience with restaurant POS systems (such as Foodics, Oracle Micros/Simphony, or Lightspeed).

• Experience with table-reservation systems (such as SevenRooms, Eat App, or OpenTable).

• Experience managing orders and reconciliations on delivery and sales platforms (Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon Food, Careem).

• Sound accounting knowledge: cash handling, daily reconciliation, UAE VAT invoicing, and petty cash; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.

• Diploma or degree in accounting, commerce, or a related field is preferred.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
