Cashier

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Illinois. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering a positive shopping experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or other point-of-sale system
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including performing janitorial duties as needed
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
• Stand for long periods of time and lift and carry heavy weight as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with general maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
