Cat Scan Technologist- Radiology- 3rd Shift Full Time

Summary

Operates CT scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images under radiology leadership, ensuring patient safety and hospital compliance.

The CT Technologist (computerized tomography), works under the direct supervision of the Radiology Director and reports to the Director and/or Assistant Director. The CT Technologist operates equipment for diagnostic purposes in the detection of disease and injury. He or she upholds the mission and vision of Murray Calloway County Hospital and follows all hospital policies and departmental procedures.

Minimum Education
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
Required Licenses
  • ARRT (R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Advanced ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
  • Must hold a radiation operator's license in the state of Kentucky.
  • Current CPR.
