Working with cross-functional global and regional teams, you support portfolio strategy that aligns with the category vision to drive sustainable brand growth and to deliver business objectives. You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives including new product development and platform opportunities.
How you will contribute
Working with other internal stakeholders, you will determine the priorities to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth. You will develop annual plans, setting objectives and allocating resources. In addition, you will offer recommendations for integrated commercial plans execute category marketing plans that deliver on revenue and profit forecasts, sharing objectives and monitoring performance, and delivering results over the AC and SP horizon. Based on your deep consumer insights and brand positioning, you will develop and implement integrated marketing communications and 360-degree campaigns.

- Bournvita is a legacy brand in the Milk food drinks category. The brand has been consistently built over decades in the country with a singular Purpose to be a partner for a mother in her kid’s growth and development. The brand has a core philosophy of being a ‘Progressive parent’ and is endorsed by millions of mothers in the country and loved by Kids for its rich, chocolaty taste. Continuing with the journey, we plan to scale and accelerate growth of the brand through category expansion, expanding the consumer franchise.
How will the Incumbent contribute:
- Lead the entire P&L on the brand, delivering on topline growth and profits over years.
- Building strong Equity within the category, leveraging the Distinctiveness that has been built over years on the ‘Tayaari Jeet kee’ platform. Evolve the platform on fresh, relevant manifestations for a mother that drives relevance for the brand and the category.
- Leading the Market development for the brand into South and East India with an objective to gain share from competition.
- Lead innovations on Brand Bournvita into synergistic formats or TGs with the permissible stretch.
- Build annual operating plans in collaboration with the cross-functional teams within the organisation. Input into the long-term strategic 3-year and 5-year plans for the business.
- Build and execute the plans for the year through strong Analytics and insights-driven thinking – Market prioritisation and Media planning with the objective to drive multimedia reach across the key markets -Efficient resource deployment of the Advertising and media budgets for the year.
- Lead a team of brand managers, setting direction for them and being responsible for their development within the organisation.
