Category Manager Internship
Description
What we're looking for
Are you looking to make the leap into the professional world at one of the leading companies in the retail sector?
At Carrefour Spain, we are looking for curious, analytical minds with lots of energy to join our Commercial team at the Head Offices as a Category Management Intern. ✨
If you are passionate about commerce, like staying on top of the latest trends, and want to learn how a product gets from the supplier to the shelf (or the online cart), this is your opportunity!
What will your mission be?
Alongside the Category Managers, you will learn to:
Design the ideal assortment: you will help decide which products our customers buy to ensure we are the most competitive.
Hunt for innovation: you will analyze the market and the competition so that Carrefour always has the latest.
Negotiation: you will participate in commercial meetings with suppliers. You will learn from the best!
Strategy and Analysis: you will acquire practical knowledge regarding budget management and key KPIs (sales, margins, stocks).
From the desk to the store: You will visit our centers to see the result of your decisions "live" and connect with the reality of the business.
Undergraduate or Master's student (Business Administration, Commercial Management, Marketing or similar) with the possibility of signing an internship agreement.
Languages: A good level of English (min. B2) and being able to manage in French (min. A2).
Fluent use of the Office suite (Excel is your best friend, but PowerPoint and Gmail too).
Attitude: We are looking for proactive people with a great desire to propose new ideas.
✨ COME WHERE OPPORTUNITIES NEVER END!
If you are eager to learn, acquire autonomy, and want your work to be reflected in thousands of homes, we want to meet you!
What you'll get
We know that you value flexibility and continuous learning, which is why we propose:
Study assistance + exclusive benefits for collaborators.
Hybrid Model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote (so you can balance your life as needed).
Full-time: With reduced hours on Fridays (the weekend starts earlier!).
Training: A development plan in a leading multinational.
