What you'll be doing:
- Develop category strategies focused on cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and sourcing optimization.
- Manage strategic suppliers, lead negotiations, and establish long-term agreements.
- Ensure the timely availability of critical components for space programs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Quality, Legal, and Program Management teams.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Support and guide Commodity Specialists and contribute to internal governance.
You'll be a great match if you have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of procurement experience, preferably in aerospace, defence, or high-tech industries.
- Strong knowledge of direct procurement, supplier management, and complex negotiations.
- Familiarity with industrial supply chains, space systems, and export control regulations (ITAR/EAR).
- Fluent English.
