Category Manager – Professional Services

The SC Department is organized around 3 main streams: The IT Purchasing team, The Indirect Purchasing team (non-IT), The Governance team!

The main objectives of the Non-IT Purchasing team you will join are to support our partners to materialize their respective projects. For doing so, we do collect needs and elaborate sourcing category plans. Those are deployed with a set of differentiated sourcing approaches depending on the situation. We use our supplier market and network to ensure business and strategic objectives are met!

  • You will have a role in identifying the vision and strategies required to support the long-term goals of the Professional Services and Consulting category in respect with the sourcing guidelines.
  • You will update and evolve the global category sourcing plan
  • You will maintain relationships with the providers of services from a commercial and relationship perspective
  • You will become a point of contact for the Professional Services and Consulting sourcing activities
  • You will conduct RFPs and formal market consultation, both for new initiatives as recurring business
  • You will share your experience and vision with SC teams and partners in order to supply concretely to a continuous improvement philosophy.
  • You will collect feedback from partners, detect unaddressed needs and find opportunities for collaboration by raising awareness of sourcing/ supply chain risks
Your profile
  • Experience in the sourcing industry and confirmed experience working with senior management.
  • Solid understanding of players, trends, drivers, TCO components, strategy of major players
  • Proven track record in major negotiations related to procurement
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to deliver immediate actionable information combined with visionary long term thinking
  • Experience in crafting actionable strategies and implementation paths
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry and understanding of the sophisticated regulatory environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures (e.g. CSD) and meaningful experience with Agile operating models and frameworks are nice to have
