At A’BriTin, our Catering and Event Staff are essential to creating exceptional experiences for every client. As a MOS Caterer, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing events to life—preparing and presenting food, assisting with set-up and event logistics, serving guests, and ensuring every detail runs smoothly. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, remains calm under pressure, and can multitask with a positive, can-do attitude.
This role requires physical stamina for lifting and transporting equipment, as well as flexibility to adapt to varying event needs. While our commercial kitchen is based in Farmington, MN, most events take place at venues throughout the state, typically within an hour’s drive of Farmington.
Essential Functions
- Loading, unloading, cleaning, and organizing catering/events equipment and items.
- Provide and serve food to clients and their guests
- Able to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Arrives to assigned work shifts on time in a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company attire standards
- Willing to carry and hold heavy objects such as chafers filled with food or bins of dirty dishes
- Ability to speak politely with clients and guests
- Willing to work in sometimes difficult conditions such as outdoors and in weather conditions
- Perform additional/other duties when needed or as required
Qualifications:
- Working towards or having a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to be on feet/standing for long periods
- Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a can-do attitude
- Catering, Event services, Wedding Industry Experience (preferred)
- Able to have reliable transportation to shifts at various venues and locations in MN
Additional Notes: Able to lift and push 30+ pounds. Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Salary: $16.00-$18.00 hourly + tips eligible (DOQ)

Job Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) – Part-Time/Seasonal
Schedule: Thursday – Sunday are the typical catering days, however, there is potential for employees to work other days of the week based on employee availability and as event schedules allow. These shifts are usually between 12pm-10pm.
