Compensation
Earn between $60,000 and $75,000 per year based on experience. Eligible for a Company achievement bonus program where you would be eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% of your annualized base salary and a quarterly banquet incentive.

Summary
The Catering & Conference Services Manager plans, coordinates, and executes all catering and conference service events, serving as the primary liaison between group leaders and the operations team to ensure a well-organized, profitable event and a seamless guest experience.
Work Schedule
Varies according to client needs and business demands, including evenings and weekends when required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Event planning and logistics: Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of catering and conference events, including timelines, room setup diagrams, audiovisual needs, and on/off-site logistics.
- Client liaison and communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for group leaders and clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up; lead pre- and post-event meetings and convey details to internal teams.
- Financial and reporting responsibilities: Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders and weekly event schedules; assist with department budgets and rolling revenue forecasts; ensure accurate, timely billing.
- Vendor and revenue opportunities: Advise group leaders on menu selection and banquet logistics to maximize their budget; identify preferred-vendor and up-sell opportunities that enhance the guest experience.
- Team collaboration and leadership: Attend Sales, Food & Beverage, and Operations meetings; coordinate with vendors and internal departments; be visible and available on-site during events.
- Administrative support: Provide phone coverage and administrative support for the Sales and Catering office; maintain professional grooming and appearance standards.
Qualifications
Applicants must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred (or high school diploma with equivalent experience); two or more years of related experience in hotels, resorts, or conference centers.
- Proven ability to plan and execute multiple events simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with event-management software (Delphi) and audiovisual coordination.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Responsible Alcohol Awareness/TIPS certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises the Banquet Event Manager; may provide functional direction to banquet and event service staff during the execution of assigned events.
Work Environment
The work environment is generally quiet, though occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions should be expected.
Physical Demands
The employee must regularly talk or hear and frequently walk; occasional standing, sitting, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 pounds) are required.
