Catering Cook
Lunds & Byerlys Catering is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing Full-time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $20.50-$26.25/hr.
We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 8:00am-6:00pm.
CATERING COOK RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Catering Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:
Preparing food for catering ordering including:
Chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
Making sauces and dressings from scratch
Cooking hot food using equipment like an oven, fryer, steamer, and stove top
Assembling platters as needed and loading dishes into hot bags for the delivery team
Ensuring the cleanliness of the work area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) years cooking experience in catering, restaurants, or other food service
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
