Responsibilities

Manage enquiries and bookings for function rooms from members, guests and corporate clients.
Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and prepare event proposals and quotations.
Coordinate with the Banquet Operations team and other departments to ensure events are executed smoothly and according to clients' requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests and corporate clients to encourage repeat business.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date event bookings, client records and reservation schedules.
Prepare sales reports and maintain proper documentation of events and sales activities.
Conduct site inspections and assist clients throughout the event planning process.
Provide on-site support during events, where required, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Catering Sales Manager.

Requirements

Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in catering sales, events, banquets, hospitality or the club industry.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, with strong written and verbal proficiency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Experience using event management or reservation systems will be an advantage.
Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and evenings when required to support Club events.
