On Call required. 13 weeks. 7 - 3 plus on call. Dayshift.
Required Radiology License (Cardiovascular tech with no Radiology License not accepted).
Shifts would be 7-15.30/ 5 days a week.
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist is responsible for assisting physicians with diagnostic and
interventional cardiovascular procedures using fluoroscopic imaging. This role involves ensuring
patient safety, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a sterile field in a fast-paced
environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform fluoroscopic imaging during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Assist physicians and clinical teams in cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Position patients appropriately for procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural details accurately.
- Maintain a sterile field and assist with supplies, medications, and catheters.
- Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency cases as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Active ARRT Certification (R)
- State Radiologic Technologist License (if applicable).
- Fluoroscopy Permit (if required by state regulations).
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications.
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
- CATH LAB. RADIOLOGY TECH LICENSE REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
