CCTV Technician (Inhouse)

Our company is growing rapidly and is hiring for a CCTV technician. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. Assist with the configuration, deployment, and support of network assets, including POS systems, sound, SFTV Performs service/installation of closed circuit television systems, and other various security related systems Performs computer program entry as required to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices as needed Experience performing work in troubleshooting and Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on Tyco Integrated Security retail products (ie Service, install, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance and inspections on Tyco Integrated Fire & Security products Service, Installation and programming of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems Training of the end user on TIFS systems Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on Tyco Retail Solutions retail products and equipment at customer sites

Qualifications for CCTV technician: Knowledge of Manufacturing, Systems Engineering or Electronic Product Design Strong technical domain experience Conduct regular checks on all “filed” officers to assure they are alert and carrying out their duties efficiently and effectively Good communication and interpersonal Terminating different forms of industry cabling including cat5e, cat6 and coaxial Understand Scope of Work layouts Work with other contractors to collaborate on the project Give direction to other technicians Able to terminate/program head end panels (Software House CCure9000) Computer proficiency -- experience with Microsoft Office products Must have previous experience installing security cameras in a retail environment Fire alarm experience (preferably with Bosch) is a plus 2+ years working with Security, Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm systems, Intercom systems or other building or electronic control systems Proficiency in software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio Experience installing and servicing CCTV, DVR systems, and burglar alarm systems in commercial environments
