The Weekly Run
Outbound freight originates near Calvert, Alabama, giving experienced flatbed drivers a consistent starting point for the week's freight. After delivery, planned backhaul loads help move the truck toward Alabama and the next dedicated shipment. Drivers are home every weekend for a 34-hour reset.
Steel Loads and Securement
This account moves smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Approximately 75% of outbound loads require tarping, and freight is primarily live loaded and live unloaded.
- Two lightweight six-foot drop tarps
- 12 winches and straps
- Steel and coil securement required
- Same trailer stays with the driver throughout the trip
Backhaul freight can include lumber, insulation, and other flatbed commodities based on available freight.
Your Assigned Equipment
Drivers operate newer-model Kenworth T680 tractors paired with 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers. Equipment is set up specifically for the securement and tarping requirements of this account.
