Premium Steel Freight & Weekend Home Time

Experienced flatbed drivers receive pay of $2,000 to $2,100 per week hauling dedicated stainless-steel freight originating near Calvert, Alabama. This account combines consistent customer freight with planned backhaul loads that help keep the truck productive while working back toward Alabama.

What You'll Haul

Outbound loads consist primarily of smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Freight is primarily live loaded and live unloaded. Approximately 75% of outbound loads require tarping, using lighter six-foot drop tarps designed for this account.

Backhaul loads may include lumber, insulation, and other flatbed commodities. These loads are planned to reduce unnecessary empty miles and position drivers efficiently for their next dedicated load.

Truck & Flatbed Equipment

Drivers receive an assigned newer-model Kenworth T680 paired with a 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailer. Each trailer includes 12 winches and straps along with two six-foot drop tarps. Drivers keep the same trailer throughout the trip.

Pay, Bonus & Orientation

Weekly pay is $2,000 to $2,100. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to qualified drivers. Paid orientation runs Monday through Thursday at $100 per day, with hotel accommodations, meals, and travel arrangements provided.
