Description

Hand-Unload Driver | Berwick Area | $1,600-$1,900/Week | $270 Per Unload | Trainees Welcome

Not every driver wants easy freight. If you don't mind real work and want to be paid well for it, this dedicated dry van run pays $270 for every big hand unload, on top of a $1.10 per mile rate. New CDL grads can apply.

WHAT YOU'LL TAKE HOME

- Average $1,600 to $1,900 a week, roughly $83,200 to $98,800 a year, paid weekly

- $1.10 per mile

- $270 for each full hand unload of 5,000+ pieces

- $17 for every stop

THE HONEST PART

This is physical work. Many loads are full hand unloads of 5,000 pieces or more, and some are live unloads. The pay is high because the work is demanding, so it fits drivers who are fit and want to earn more.

HOW YOUR WEEK GOES

- Home weekly, with a 34-hour restart

- Day and night shifts both available

- Weekend work is part of the schedule

- No deliveries on Thanksgiving or Christmas, but other holidays may be expected

HOW TO GET IN

- A valid Class A CDL

- At least 120 hours of CDL training

- No driving experience needed

- Urine and hair follicle drug screening

- An active profile in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse

- Background details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step

THE EXTRAS

Paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, plus vision and dental coverage.
