Position Summary
Drivers deliver millwork products to customers throughout a designated region using dedicated equipment and established routes. This position offers a consistent schedule, professional work environment, and the support needed to keep drivers moving efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks to deliver products as directed by the Logistics Department
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and company requirements
- Maintain accurate fuel records, trip sheets, stop reports, and DOT e-logs
- Adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations
- Communicate equipment, product, or safety concerns to the Fleet Supervisor
- Scale loads before departing
- Supervise unloading activities and complete all required delivery documentation
- Open and close trailer curtains and secure loads using straps as needed throughout deliveries
- Assist within the warehouse as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A License
- Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Ability to meet DOT requirements
