The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for hauling products to and from Waiakea's different work site locations. Starting pay is determined on experience; $25-$29/hour. This is for a daytime shift position located in Hilo, HI. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources, manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our bottling Plant in Hilo. Essential Job Functions:
- Works in a safe, clean and responsible manner. Practicing defensive driving at all times
- Operates a tractor and trailer combo pulling a 45’ water tanker or 40’ containers w/ water to and from locations in and around the Hilo area.
- Deliver water to Bottling Plant Facility
- Unload water from tanker into Plant storage tank.
- Operate and deliver 40’ container of product from Plant Facility to storage facilities.
- Dray ISO tanks between Hilo Staging lot and Well site.
- Pick up materials preloaded into 40’ container from warehouse site(s) and deliver to the Bottling Plant Facility (1- 2 miles)
- Performs housekeeping tasks to keep truck clean, organized, and safe. These include but are not limited to: wiping and washing equipment and tools, general cleaning, trash removal
- Assist co-workers when necessary.
- Responds positively with sense of urgency while meeting quality standards.
- Strictly adhere to sanitation, hygiene, safety regulations & procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers and department staff from all areas of operation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Overtime hours may be required based on work demand. Employee must be flexible with the work hours as needed.
