Practical home-weekly scheduling and consistent freight flow give experienced CDL-A drivers a regional setup built around productive mileage, efficient freight movement, and time off that can be planned around the route.
Drivers run 2,500–2,600 miles per week with 85–90% drop-and-hook freight. The high percentage of drop-and-hook loads helps limit loading delays while allowing drivers to maintain a productive regional schedule.
Pay & Weekly Miles
Drivers earn $1,450 to $1,600 per week while running 2,500–2,600 miles. Additional earnings include detention pay, layover pay, holiday pay, accessorial pay, and optional hazmat opportunities.
Pay is deposited weekly through direct deposit. The combination of mileage, extra-pay opportunities, and efficient freight handling gives drivers a clear regional earning structure throughout the week.
Equipment & Driver Comfort
Drivers operate late-model Kenworth T680 automatic trucks equipped for regional work and extended time on the road.
- Smart Idle systems and bunk heaters
- Double bunks and 1500w inverters
- Brand-new mattresses
The equipment setup provides practical cab features for both driving time and overnight rest while drivers are away from home.
Home Time & Running Area
Drivers typically run 7–9 days followed by a full 34+ hour home reset.
- Home time can be taken anywhere along the driver's route
- No runs into NYC or New Jersey
Drivers also have access to more than 30 terminals nationwide, providing convenient locations for clean showers, gyms, laundry facilities, and support services while away from home.
