CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Troutdale, OR

Pay Details & Schedule

• Mileage Pay: $0.65 CPM
• Stop Pay: $22 per stop
• Short-Load Pay: $40 per load for qualifying loads under 50 miles
• Delivery Incentive: $750 for every 50 qualifying customer deliveries and/or pickups
• Estimated Weekly Pay: estimates ranging from $1,000 to $1,800
• Home Daily
• Day and night shifts available
• Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedules
• 34-hour restarts as scheduled

Job Details

• Local intermodal container freight
• Starting area: Troutdale/Portland, OR
• Local routes throughout the Portland and Salem areas
• Occasional freight to Hermiston, OR, and Grandview, WA; crossing into Washington is required
• Approximately 90% of loads are under 50 miles
• Drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight
• No driver-assisted loads
• Hazmat endorsement is optional, with additional pay and reimbursement for the out-of-pocket endorsement cost when a receipt is provided

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• First-seat, experienced drivers
• Clean driving record
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
• Must be able to cross into Washington as required
• Hazmat endorsement is not required but is encouraged
