CDL-A Reefer Driver – Semi-Local Routes | Assigned Truck

Your own assigned truck, no-touch freight, and a steady run between California and Colorado. This semi-local CDL-A job in Gilroy, CA hauls fresh and frozen food in reefer trailers from the Gilroy distribution center to Aurora, CO and back. You’re paid by the hour plus mileage, with extra pay on top.

Pay & Bonuses

• $18 per hour.
• $0.59–$0.63 per mile.
• $200 holiday pay per day.

Schedule & Home Time

• Saturday–Wednesday schedule.
• Start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
• Usually 12–14 hour workdays.
• Home 2–3 nights a week.
• Extra 6th day available if you want it.
• Truck stays at the account while you're off.

Routes & Freight

• Reefer runs from Gilroy, CA to Aurora, CO and back.
• Operating in CA and CO.
• Mix of drop & hook and live load/unload.
• No-touch freight.
• Covers other distribution center routes when needed.

• Automatic sleeper trucks.
• Assigned truck.
• Reefer trailers.

Endorsement Requirement

• No additional endorsements required.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Able to chain up when weather requires.
