CDL A Truck Driver Local Dry Van- Taylor

Detroit Shuttle
1st shift schedule: Starts between 7am-5pm
Lear Conner to GM Factory Zero
Workweek: Monday through Friday
Pay rate: $24 per hour (based on experience)
Overtime policy: Straight pay after 40 hours (no time-and-a-half)

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A)
• Clean or acceptable driving record (MVR check)
• Must comply with FMCSA/DOT regulations (hours of service, logbooks, etc.)
• Previous truck driving experience (often preferred, NOT required)
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and defensive driving
• Ability to load, secure, and inspect cargo
• Basic ability to use GPS/navigation and electronic logging devices (ELDs)
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet delivery schedules
• Ability to lift moderate weight (for tarping, securing freight, etc.)
• Good communication skills with dispatch and customers
• Willingness to work long hours, early mornings, or flexible routes depending on freight needs
