CDL Class A Driver / Equipment Operator

Location: Abilene, TX

Pay: $25 to $30 per hour

Full-time, W-2 employment with Rinvio, working on site with our client.

Put your commercial driving skills to work in a site-based role that also involves equipment use and physical crew support. Responsibilities extend beyond the cab, with the balance of hauling, machine operation and hands-on tasks changing as the project progresses.

What you will do

• Drive a tractor equipped with a 10-speed manual gearbox while towing a belly-dump trailer.
• Operate additional vehicles when needed, including dump trucks with manual transmissions and a water truck.
• Assist the crew with physical tasks at the worksite rather than limiting your contribution to driving.
• Take on equipment duties as needed, potentially using skid-steers, backhoes, rollers or maintainers.
• Move between truck assignments, equipment operation and manual labor according to the work required during each project phase.

What you bring

• A valid Class A commercial driver's license.
• The ability to handle manual-transmission vehicles and tow trailers, including the tractor-and-trailer setup described above.
• Willingness to perform physical labor and support the crew through changing combinations of driving and equipment tasks.
• Availability for the usual Monday through Thursday workweek, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., with flexibility for schedule changes. Additional hours may be offered, but overtime should not be assumed.

Weekly pay, plus medical, dental and vision plans available.
