CDL Dump Driver

We’re hiring a Dump Driver to join County Materials in Weston, WI

Job Summary:
As a Dump Truck Driver, you will safely transport bulk aggregates and construction materials using a quad axle dump truck while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate deliveries, excellent customer service, and efficient daily operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Safely operate a quad axle dump truck to haul aggregates and construction materials
Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections (DOT compliant)
Ensure safe and accurate loading, transport, and unloading of materials
Verify delivery details, including cargo type, quantities, and destinations
Maintain and submit all delivery tickets and logs accurately
Communicate regularly with dispatchers on routes and delivery updates
Provide professional customer service at job sites and plant locations
Perform preventative maintenance, including greasing equipment
Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
Attend safety meetings, toolbox talks, and required training sessions
Assist with self-loading using front-end loader when required

Experience & Qualifications: (Required or Preferred)

Valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
Active DOT Medical Certification
Minimum 2 years of driving experience (construction or hauling preferred)
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Commitment to safety and reliability

Experience with dump truck operations or aggregate hauling preferred
Experience operating a front-end loader or heavy equipment preferred
Background in construction, general labor, or transportation preferred

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in an Indoor and Outdoor environment.
Exposure may include moderate noise, weather, work near moving machinery/equipment, public interaction
Travel required: Intra-state travel in company vehicle, home every night.
Typical work hours/shifts: 40 hours per week, overtime expectations (seasonal), possible layoff in winter months.

May require the operation of specific tools, equipment, or vehicles associated with the position.

Safety Equipment:
Required safety equipment: Hard Helmet, Hi-Vis Apparel, Safety Footwear, other PPE (gloves, hearing protection, eye protection, etc.) as needed.Where and when used: To be used when outside truck cab.
