Position Summary
The CDL Route Service Technician is responsible for operating a service vehicle and performing the servicing, maintenance, and support of portable sanitation equipment throughout Fort Benning and surrounding service areas.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, interacting with customers, and taking ownership of a daily route.
Essential Responsibilities
Safe Vehicle Operations
Safely operate a service truck in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Maintain required driving records and documentation.
Route & Service Responsibilities
Service and maintain portable sanitation equipment to company standards.
Complete assigned routes efficiently and safely.
Respond to changing service needs and route adjustments as required.
Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction at every stop.
Customer Service
Communicate professionally with customers and site personnel.
Address customer concerns and provide exceptional service.
Identify customer needs and communicate opportunities to management.
Represent Inframark in a professional manner at all times.
Safety & Teamwork
Comply with all company, DOT, and safety regulations.
Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Communicate route efficiencies, service issues, and customer feedback to supervisors.
Work collaboratively with team members to support operational goals.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards.
Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
CDL Class B License.
One year of related experience in route service, delivery, environmental services, construction, utilities, public works, transportation, or equipment operation.
Military experience, especially in transportation, logistics, maintenance, or engineering occupations.
Experience operating commercial vehicles or service trucks.

Physical Requirements
This is a physically active position requiring the ability to:
Sit while operating a service vehicle and stand for extended periods while performing service work.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb.
Enter and exit vehicles and equipment throughout the workday.
Push and pull up to 100 pounds.
Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Safely perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday.
Walk for extended periods on uneven terrain and job sites.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to:
Hot and cold temperatures
Rain, humidity, and changing weather conditions
