Duties:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, and specialized equipment for automobile transportation and hazardous materials.
- Plan routes using GPS navigation to optimize delivery schedules across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper manual handling techniques to maintain cargo integrity and safety compliance.
- Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, managing route driving responsibilities with professionalism and punctuality.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety, including checking load security and vehicle systems.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and freight handling.
- Ability to handle manual handling tasks related to load & unload operations safely and efficiently.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with route driving using GPS navigation systems preferred.
Compensation Structure:
- The compensation will be USD 20–25 per hour, negotiable based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
