You will join our Central Computing team, responsible for the in-house hardware architecture and design of automotive controllers spanning Propulsion, High-Performance Computers (HPCs), and Zone Control Units (ZCUs). While your initial focus will be leading hardware architecture for propulsion ECU programs, you will work within a cross-functional hardware organization with opportunities to expand your impact across HPC, ZCU, and future centralized computing platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop both physical and functional electrical architecture from concept through production.
  • Develop electrical block diagrams describing major components and interfaces.

  • Develop solutions for any discovered weaknesses in the design balancing performance, cost, timing and other stakeholder impact factors.
  • Ownership of architectural decisions and the resulting design documentation.
  • Close collaboration with Vehicle Planning, System Engineering and Software Engineering to ensure the Hardware Architecture fulfills all stakeholder needs now and into the future.
  • Support the portfolio of in-house Hardware products by defining a roadmap for design evolutions, new variants, and new products.
