Central Regional Sales Manager
Responsibility:
As the Central Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing the sales strategy for our company's range of products/services across the Central USA territory. This is a remote position, and candidates may be based anywhere within the assigned territory, provided they are located near a major commercial airport. The role requires regular travel, with an expectation of being on the road approximately 2 to 3 weeks per month visiting customers, attending trade shows, sales meetings, and training events. You will collaborate closely with US teams to achieve sales targets within annual budgets while upholding the company's image and fostering a culture of excellence.
Main Activities
- Achieve sales objectives in alignment with company strategy, both domestically and internationally.
- Plan and organize sales activities in conjunction with relevant departments, optimizing resources.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to adapt strategies to changing market dynamics, particularly in the electronic assembly (surface mount) and semiconductor industries.
- Coordinate sales and marketing activities to maximize product/service visibility and effectiveness.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research.
- Manage Inventec clients, major accounts, and distributor networks, optimizing strategies for growth.
- Participate in strategic meetings with customers and suppliers to promote products effectively, including direct meetings with customers and managing both internal and external client processes.
- Actively participate in SMTA for networking and manage technical sales roles involving solution propositions, focusing on soldering solutions and support.
- Use Salesforce CRM for sales forecasts and manage communication with technical support for product qualification.
- Participate in salons and shows, potentially preparing for these events
Skills Required
- Technical aptitude in applying chemistry to processes.
- Sales personality: outgoing, hunter, optimistic, organized, with strong leadership skills.
- Flexible with travel, including training in France and Mexico.
- Important to have sales experience or market understanding.
- Easy-going, patient, communicative, engaging, and kind.
- Spanish or French language skills would be a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or technology, preferably in chemical or electronic engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales management preferred.
- Frequent travel required, both domestically and internationally
- Internal collaboration with various departments, external collaboration with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
