Central Supply Clerk
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Controller, the Central Supply Clerk is responsible for planning and directing the procurement of nursing supplies for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities (campus wide).

Essential Functions
- Unpacks, checks, and store supplies upon receipt, any discrepancies must be report to the appropriate person
- Ensures that orders are correct and bills are turned in for payment in a timely manner 3. Accounts for all supplies and bills appropriate status, i.e. Medicare A, Medicare B etc.
- Ensures vendors provide appropriate safety sheets and materials
- Stocks the necessary supplies to the nursing stations and clinics
- Audits and tracks all supplies
- Orders supplies and maintains appropriate budget controls
- Ensures personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal regulations, including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety
- Ensures personal and staff compliance to Residents’ Rights
- Properly files reports and documentation
- Assists the Lead Central Supply Clerk with any other department needs

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with frequent interruptions
- Ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
- Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time delivery supplies to the appropriate location
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50lbs
- Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of computer keyboard
- Must follow all safety measures and procedures
- Must follow the dress code policy
