JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

Minimum: High school diploma or GED/HSE accredited by the State Board of Education.

Preferred: Associates degree.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum: 1-2 years experience working in healthcare with an understanding of medical terminology and a basic understanding of medical coding.

Preferred: 2+ years experience in a physician office setting. Experience with healthcare insurance prior authorization procedures and regulations.
