Centre Manager (Part-time)

Job Summary

Reporting to the CEO, the Centre Manager drives student recruitment, marketing, and branding to expand the centre’s outreach, focusing on Chinese Debate Classes and future tuition programmes. This role requires Sunday work and occasional remote parent communication.

Responsibilities

Student Recruitment:

  • Engage with parents and prospective students to enroll them in classes
  • Respond promptly and accurately to queries about programmes
  • Identify and pursue new lead sources to grow the student pipeline
  • Propose and implement promotional activities to increase outreach

Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to design and execute promotional campaigns
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials to support outreach efforts
  • Manage social media platforms under Marketing Team guidance to enhance visibility

Other Duties:

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned, coordinating with the Admin Officer for support

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum diploma or higher education qualification
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in a tuition centre in Singapore
  • Proficient communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Ability to work on Sundays
  • Proficient in spoken and written Chinese to effectively communicate and engage stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience working in a Chinese tuition centre or a Public Speaking tuition centre
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and WhatsApp
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
  • Strong sales skills focused on engaging parents and meeting targets
  • Resourceful and target-driven mindset
