CEO (Mining / P&L / HSE) Chile

We are looking for a CEO responsible for overseeing all mining operations, including strategy, financial performance, production, expansion, and operational excellence. The position carries full P&L accountability and leadership across the entire mining lifecycle, from exploration and development to production and optimization.
Key responsibilities
Include managing relationships with government entities and joint-venture partners, ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance, driving operational efficiency, leading capital investment decisions, and promoting strong HSE and ESG standards.
The role requires extensive experience leading large-scale mining operations within regulated and state-partnered environments, with strong expertise in mining operations, financial management, governance, and organizational leadership.
Requirements
- Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or related field
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred
- 20+ years of mining or natural resources experience
- Proven CEO or senior executive leadership experience with full P&L responsibility
- Strong background in operational leadership, safety, ESG, and stakeholder management
