Scope of Responsibility

The OP COTA will also utilize appropriate exercises, manual therapy techniques, and physical agents to aid in executing the established plan of care. Ability to document findings in compliance with state and federal requirements. Must be able and willing to work in multiple clinical settings such as outpatient, acute, inpatient units, as staffing requires.

Responsible to the Director of Rehab Services

• Education

• Must be a graduate of an AOTA approved school with Associate Degree in O.T.
• Current State of Texas licensure is required with certification by AOTA
• 
  Training and Experience
• One year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is desired
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
•
