We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in the following area:
- Vanceboro
- Chocowinity
What you’ll do:
Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:
- Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion/exercises
- Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
- Medication reminders
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
What makes you a great candidate:
- Have at least one year of work experience.
- Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

- At Bayada Home Health Care, we provide in home care. Are you comfortable going into clients homes to provide services? (feeding, bathing, lifting, transfers, toileting, incontinence care, laundry, bed making, personal care needs)
- Are you currently a CNA (on the NC registry)? (not expired. Not pending the exams)
- If you’re not a CNA. Do you have 12 months of paid professional experience as PCA or HHA? (nursing home, group home, hospital, home health, private duty)? Please give details about the type of experience you have.
- If you are not a CNA OR have one year of hands on paid caregiving experience, we offer a free, unpaid one-week Bayada HHA 101 training class in Greenville, held Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Are you interested? Please reply YES or NO

- Considering your current obligations, what is your current availability for a schedule with Bayada? (Days and Hours that you can work)
- This position requires you to visit clients in their individual homes. Some may run errands for clients (such as grocery store, pharmacy, or post office), what is your means of transportation?
- You do not get paid for travel time to or from client's homes. Mileage is ONLY reimbursed when transporting a client or completing errands on behalf of a client during your schedule. Are you okay with this?
- If you plan to use public bus,(Uber/Lyft), or other transportation, please confirm that you are able to reliably travel to and between client homes and be on time.
- Many of our clients require shorter shifts (typically averaging 2 to 4 hours). Depending on your availability and scheduling preferences, you may have the potential to work with multiple clients throughout the day, helping you create a schedule that fits your needs. However, full-time hours are not guaranteed. Please confirm you are comfortable moving forward.
