Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company is seeking a full time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Hours are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday. This role will primarily work from our Alvernon site with occasional travel to our Wilmot and La Cholla sites.
The CCMA will provide assistance to radiology staff including radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast paced team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:
- Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow
- Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
- Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists
- Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams
- Monitors supplies
- Maintains patient confidentiality
